Receiving calls from someone in Cuyahoga County Jail: your calling options

Under the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's jail-system telephone rules, phones are available to incarcerated people daily. Your telephone contact starts when the person in jail calls you.

Incoming telephone calls and telephone messages for incarcerated people are not accepted. You cannot call them directly or leave a telephone message for them.

The available phones are coinless collect phones. The person in jail can also buy a prepaid calling card from the commissary to make calls.

As a family member or friend, you can set up a Securus Technologies AdvanceConnect account to receive calls. This is a separate option from the prepaid calling card the incarcerated person buys through the commissary.
