Your telephone contact with someone at Cuyahoga County Corrections Center starts when they call you. Under the county Sheriff's jail-system rules, phones are available daily, but incoming calls and telephone messages for incarcerated people are not accepted. The phones are coinless collect phones. The person in jail can also buy a prepaid calling card through the commissary. As a family member or friend, you can set up a Securus Technologies AdvanceConnect account to receive calls; this is a separate option from the commissary calling card.

You cannot call someone in jail directly or leave a telephone message for them. Under the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's jail-system rules, telephone contact starts when the person in jail calls you.
As a family member or friend, you can set up a Securus Technologies AdvanceConnect account to receive calls. That is separate from the prepaid calling card the person in jail can buy through the commissary.
