Five Ways to Send Commissary Money to Someone at Franklin County Corrections (Kiosks, Online, Cash at Stores, Phone)
Sending commissary money to someone at Franklin County Corrections? You've got several options through Keefe—kiosks, online, cash at retail stores, and phone—each with different limits and tradeoffs.
Franklin County Corrections switched to Keefe Commissary Network as of June 23, 2025. That means you now have five ways to add funds: deposit at in-person Keefe kiosks, pay online at AccessCorrections.com, use the Access Corrections mobile app, bring cash to participating retailers through CashPayToday, or call in a payment by phone. Pick whatever works best for your situation.
Want to pay in person? Franklin County has four Keefe kiosks. Two are at the James A. Karnes Corrections Center (2551 Fisher Road) in the front lobby. The other two are at Franklin County Corrections Center II (2460 Jackson Pike) - one at the north-side visitor's entrance, one at the south-side visitor's entrance.
Note: Kiosks are open 24/7 and accept cash or card. Cash deposits max out at $300 per recipient per day.
For online or mobile deposits, go to AccessCorrections.com or download the Access Corrections app. Select the state and agency - look for "Franklin County Jail, OH." Enter the recipient's full name or their Sheriff's Office ID to make sure the money lands in the right account.
- Create your Access Corrections account - you’ll need an account before you can complete an online payment.
- Verify your phone number - follow the prompts to confirm your number.
- Verify your email - complete the email verification step.
- Verify your address - enter and confirm your address to finish setup.
Heads up: Credit and debit card deposits are capped at $300 per recipient, per card, over any 7-day period.
- Create your CashPayToday profile - set up your account so you can generate payments tied to the correct facility and person.
- Choose the facility and recipient - select the facility and enter the recipient’s unique identifier.
- Generate your barcode - this barcode is what the store will scan to apply your cash deposit.
- Pay cash at a participating retailer - bring the barcode to the store and complete the deposit at the register.
Note: CashPayToday deposits are limited to $900 in cash per recipient per day.
Prefer to handle things by phone? Call Keefe at (636) 888-7004. The line runs 24/7 - you can use the automated system or talk to a bilingual (English/Spanish) customer service rep.

Quick Decision
- ✓ If you’re nearby and want to pay in person: use the Keefe kiosks at James A. Karnes Corrections Center (front lobby) or Franklin County Corrections Center II (north or south visitor entrances).
- ✓ If you’re sending money from out of town (or just want to do it from home): use AccessCorrections.com or the Access Corrections mobile app and select “Franklin County Jail, OH.”
- ✓ If you need to use cash but can’t get to the jail: use CashPayToday to generate a barcode and pay cash at a participating retailer.
Note: Before choosing a method, check the deposit caps - $300 cash at kiosks, $900 cash through CashPayToday, and the 7-day card limit. Keep the $2,000-in-10-days threshold in mind to avoid delays.
