Setting Up Video Visits at Graham Correctional Center (ICSolutions): Complete Setup Guide

Setting up a video visit is straightforward once you know the system. Graham Correctional Center uses ICSolutions for video visitation, so all your setup and scheduling happens through an ICSolutions visitor account.

Illinois Department of Corrections facilities (except ATCs) have switched video visitation from GTL to ICSolutions. For Graham Correctional Center, that means your account setup, scheduling, and the visit itself all go through ICSolutions.

Important: All video visits must be scheduled through the ICSolutions website. Don't call the facility to schedule one.

You'll need the ICSolutions visitation app on whatever device you plan to use. ICSolutions supports Windows computers, Android devices, and iOS devices (iPhone or iPad). Download the app and run a test before your visit. The application has to be installed and tested before you can join a session, so don't wait until the last minute.

  1. Download the ICSolutions visitation app: Install it on your Windows computer, Android device, or iOS device.
  2. Sign in (or create your account): Use your ICSolutions visitor account so the app can connect you to your scheduled visits.
  3. Allow camera and microphone access: If your device asks for permissions, approve them so you can be seen and heard.
  4. Test the application before visit time: Run the app’s test so you know your device is ready before you try to join the video visit.

Tip: If your test is failing, update both your device and the ICSolutions app, then restart and try again.

Before you pick a time, know the basic limits. An individual in custody can receive one video visit per day and two per week total. That weekly cap applies to individuals in restrictive housing too.

  • ✓ An individual in custody may receive only 1 video visit per day.
  • ✓ No more than three approved visitors per video visit for individuals in custody in general population or protective custody.
  • ✓ An individual in custody may receive only 2 video visits per week, including individuals in restrictive housing (this counts against the allotted visits).

Note: The "no more than three approved visitors" limit applies specifically to individuals in general population or protective custody.

  • ✓ Use the ICSolutions website to schedule your video visit (do not call the facility to schedule).
  • ✓ Make sure your device is ready (Windows, Android, or iOS).
  • ✓ Download the ICSolutions visitation app.
  • ✓ Test the app before the scheduled visit.
  • ✓ Confirm you can access your scheduled visit by signing into your ICSolutions account.

Tip: Run your test earlier in the day, not right at start time. If anything looks off, sign back into your ICSolutions account and confirm the visit details there instead of calling the facility.
