Henderson Detention Center handles both onsite and remote visits through the Securus Video Visitation system (select Nevada, then Henderson Detention Center). Check there for current hours and pricing. Onsite visiting runs Wednesday through Sunday, 8:00–11:00 and 1:00–4:00, with each visit lasting 20 minutes. Inmates are limited to two onsite visits per week, and appointments must be made at least 24 hours ahead. Holiday visits count toward that weekly limit. Remote video visits are also 20 minutes, require 24-hour advance booking, and inmates can have up to three per day. Note that remote visits may be recorded and monitored (attorney video visits are exempt). Attorney visits, whether remote or onsite, are available 24/7. Attorneys should have their State Bar card ready for scheduling.

Henderson Detention Center doesn't accept incoming telephone calls to detainees. You can't call the jail and get connected directly to someone inside. Phone service runs through Securus: set up a prepaid account by calling 1-800-844-6591 or registering on the Securus website. Detainees can also purchase calling cards using commissary funds. You can add money at Henderson Detention Center so an inmate can purchase commissary goods. Families typically fund accounts through facility-approved options: third-party online services, lobby kiosks, mailed deposit coupons with a cashier's check or money order, or in-person deposits where available. Some third-party vendors, including Securus, let you set up prepaid accounts by phone or online. Inmates may also use commissary funds to buy calling cards. If you mail a payment, expect a delay. Mailed money orders and cashier's checks are often held for verification before funds become available. Money in commissary or trust accounts generally covers commissary items, phone or tablet services, and other approved purchases.
