Where to request immigration case information for someone detained at Kenton County
You can direct immigration case questions to the court, the appeals board or ICE using the contacts below. The ICE outreach mailbox accepts case-information requests for Kenton County detainees, but not stay-of-removal applications or case appeals.
If the matter is before immigration court, you can call 1-800-898-7180 for information. Applications for relief from removal and other applications requested by the immigration judge must be filed directly with the immigration court.
If the matter is before the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), call 703-305-0289. You can obtain automated information or speak with a live representative during office hours.
For ICE case-information requests about someone detained at Kenton County Detention Center, you can email Chicago.Outreach@ice.dhs.gov. This mailbox does not accept applications for a stay of removal or case appeals.
A separate route is for the detained person's legal representative, who can request the identity of the client's Deportation Officer by emailing CHI-ERO-Detained@ice.dhs.gov.
A G-28 must be on file before any information can be disclosed through the legal representative’s Deportation Officer request.
