How to schedule your first video visit at Miami County Jail

Miami County Jail runs video visitation through ICSolutions. You can connect using the ICSolutions Mobile app, or from a computer or tablet with a webcam. The system offers two options: on-site visits at the jail (free) and off-site visits from home (paid). All inmates are eligible for both.

For on-site visits, you'll go to the Miami County Incarceration Facility at 2042 N CR 25A, Troy, Ohio 45373. Off-site visits are scheduled through ICSolutions and happen remotely - no trip to the facility required.

1. Create your ICSolutions account - Use the ICSolutions Mobile app or the ICSolutions website to start your registration.
2. Set your login details - Choose a username and create your PIN and password so you can sign in later to schedule visits.
3. Add your ID information - Registration requires a valid, government-issued photo ID.
4. List the person you want to visit and your relationship - You’ll be asked to identify the incarcerated person and define how you’re related.
5. Wait for approval before booking - You must be approved in the system before you can schedule an on-site or off-site video visit.

Miami County Jail requires approval before you can book anything. You'll need an ICSolutions account, and the facility must approve you first - whether you're planning an on-site or off-site visit.

Once approved, you can pick a time slot. Visits are available Monday through Sunday, 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM, including holidays. All visits are by appointment, so you'll choose from open slots within those hours.

Both visit types run through ICSolutions, but there are key differences. On-site visits happen at the Miami County Incarceration Facility and cost nothing. Off-site visits let you connect from anywhere with a computer, smartphone, or tablet - you'll need high-speed internet and a webcam. Off-site visits are charged at rates set by ICSolutions (not the Miami County Sheriff's Office).

• ✓ Arrive about 10 minutes before your on-site visit start time; if you’re late, the appointment won’t be extended.
• ✓ Plan for a maximum of 4 visitors total at one time (children count toward the 4).
• ✓ Expect to be limited to one 30-minute on-site video visit per week.
