Milwaukee Secure Denetion Facility

All video visits at Milwaukee Secure Detention Facility (MSDF) are scheduled through ICSolutions (online or by phone). MSDF staff do not book visits. Before reserving a time, you must register and get approved. The incarcerated person also needs to give you a Party ID, which you'll use to complete registration and schedule visits in the ICSolutions system. MSDF allows up to three 26-minute video visits per week, offered seven days a week depending on the facility schedule and availability. Paid extra visits are also available at a published rate of $2.50 per additional visit (effective June 19, 2023). Visits are by appointment only, monitored and recorded, and can be done at an onsite kiosk or on a remote device. Bring a valid government-issued photo ID for check-in.

Schedule directly with ICSolutions, since MSDF staff do not schedule video visits. Plan ahead: visits must be set at least 48 hours in advance. Phone calls also run through vendor accounts. If you want to accept collect calls, you'll need to set up a Securus account. MSDF's video vendor added a $2.50 charge for additional visits effective June 19, 2023. Non-legal calls and video visits are routinely recorded or monitored. Attorney calls follow separate rules, including collect-only calling and attorney contact updates via form DOC-21631.

The main mail option for adding funds at MSDF uses ACCESS SECURE DEPOSITS. Send the deposit slip with a money order or check payable to "ACCESS SECURE DEPOSITS" to Secure Deposits - Wisconsin DOC, P.O. Box 12486, St. Louis, MO 63132. Do not send cash. Don't staple, paperclip, or tape the money order to the deposit slip either. Follow the deposit slip instructions carefully so your payment isn't rejected. Phone-related payments and collect-call setup are handled through third-party services. To accept collect calls from MSDF, your family will need to create a Securus account. Other funding options (online, phone, or kiosk) may be available and typically require the incarcerated person's full name, facility ID, and accurate payer billing details.
