Can You Visit From Home? Lobby Kiosk vs. Remote Video Visits at Morrow County

Morrow County provides non-contact visits in two formats: video visits at the kiosk in the public lobby, and online visits you can do from home. So yes - remote visits are allowed here, alongside the in-person lobby option.

Both options work on an appointment system. The facility logs every visit - who visited, which inmate, and the scheduled start and end times. Know your appointment time and arrive ready to check in.

1. Schedule an appointment - Visits require an appointment, and you can schedule either online or at the visitation kiosk in the lobby.
2. Check in at the inmate information window with ID - For lobby video visitation, you’ll be positively identified at the inmate information window.
3. Go to the visitation kiosk - After your ID is confirmed, staff will direct you to the visitation kiosk to complete the lobby video visit.

Once you're checked in, staff take care of the rest. The Visitation Officer notifies the Control Room, prepares the inmate for movement, and brings them to the visitation area so your visit can start.

Can't make it to the facility? Morrow County allows online visits from home. These still require an appointment - schedule ahead of time through the website or at the lobby kiosk.

Deciding between lobby and at-home visits? Go with whatever works best for your situation. Remote visits save travel time. Lobby kiosk visits are better if your internet at home isn't reliable. Either way, you'll need an appointment, and your visit gets logged in the facility's system.
