Morrow County Jail Dress Code: What You Can and Can't Wear to a Visit

Scheduled visits at Morrow County Jail are monitored by the jail administrator or a designee. Because staff are actively supervising, they can enforce the dress code on the spot and deny your visit if your clothing is considered inappropriate.

Miss a rule and staff may give you a verbal warning. Break a rule a second time, though, and your visit will be terminated. You'll be asked to leave. It goes further than just the dress code: any misconduct during a monitored visit can cost you visiting privileges for any inmate in the facility. Dress conservatively and follow staff directions the first time.

Do not wear clothing with gang or club insignia. That includes obvious logos, symbols, patches, or anything that could be taken as gang- or club-affiliated branding.

Clothing with obscene gestures or obscene language is also prohibited. Even if it's "just a joke," it can get you turned away at check-in.

Leave tank tops, tube tops, and muscle shirts at home. Choose a standard shirt with typical coverage instead.

If you’re wearing a skirt or dress, it must reach to the middle of the knee. If it rides up when you sit, walk, or bend, swap it out for something longer.
