How to Send Mail to Someone at Northeast Ohio Correctional Center After Jan 30, 2025
Sending a personal letter or card to someone at Northeast Ohio Correctional Center? The mailing address changed on January 30, 2025. Use the ODRC Mail Processing Center address below to avoid delays.
Starting January 30, 2025, all letters and cards from family and friends for people at Northeast Ohio Correctional Center go through the ODRC Mail Processing Center (OMPC). Update your address book now - sending everything to OMPC keeps your mail moving as quickly as possible.
Send personal letters and cards to this address: Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction Mail Processing Center (OMPC) 884 Coitsville-Hubbard Road Youngstown, Ohio 44505
- ✓ Write the incarcerated person’s full name on the first line
- ✓ Include their number right after the name (for example: “John Doe R111111” or “John Doe A555555”)
- ✓ Use the OMPC address exactly as written: Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, Mail Processing Center (OMPC), 884 Coitsville-Hubbard Road, Youngstown, Ohio 44505
This change only applies to personal letters and cards from family and friends. Legal mail, business correspondence, and printed materials like magazines, newspapers, and books should still go to the prison's physical address - not OMPC.
Mail sent to the old facility address will be forwarded to OMPC, but forwarding adds extra handling time. Your letter will reach your loved one faster if you send it directly to OMPC.
Questions about OMPC mail processing? Email ODRCMailProcessingCenter@drc.ohio.gov or call 1-330-333-7372. Have the incarcerated person's name and number ready - it helps staff assist you faster.
