Understanding PIN Debit phone accounts at Pulaski County

A PIN Debit Account is a prepaid phone option. Each inmate gets a unique PIN number, and they use that PIN to access their balance when making calls. Money in the account pays for those calls directly.

You can add money through the facility website or by calling a Customer Service Representative. Not sure which to pick? The phone option works well if you'd rather have someone walk you through it.

• ✓ Use the kiosks located in the visitation area to place money on an inmate’s account.
• ✓ Use the lobby kiosk if you’re depositing in person - visitors can use cash or a credit card there.
• ✓ Leave a money order Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; you’ll need to fill out a slip with the inmate’s name, booking (book-in) number, s.o. number, unit, and date.

The inmate controls the calling. Once you add funds, that money belongs to them - they can call any number they choose. That's good if you want to make sure they can reach you. Just know you won't be able to manage who they call from the outside.

• ✓ Confirm details directly with the inmate when you can - the inmate uses their unique PIN to access the PIN Debit account for phone calls.
• ✓ If you deposit at a kiosk in the visitation area (or the lobby kiosk), keep your receipt so you have a record of the transaction.
• ✓ If you use the lobby kiosk, remember it accepts cash or credit cards.
• ✓ If you’re dropping off a money order, go Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and complete the required slip (inmate’s name, booking/book-in number, s.o. number, unit, and date).
