Which day can you visit? Pulaski County's visiting day schedule explained

Pulaski County assigns visiting days two ways: by last name or by housing unit. Last names A through M visit on Monday or Saturday. Last names N through Z visit on Tuesday or Sunday. But there's an exception. Inmates in Units A, B, and W follow a different schedule - they can receive visits on Wednesday or Thursday, regardless of last name. Not sure which rule applies? Check the housing unit first. If someone's in Unit A, B, or W, that overrides the last-name schedule. Confirm the unit before planning your trip.

Inmates at Pulaski County get one 30-minute social visit per week. Even if multiple visiting days are available for their group, they're still limited to a single 30-minute session that week.

No more than three visitors can attend that 30-minute visit. If your group is larger, someone will need to sit out and come a different week.

Trusty Units play by their own rules. If your person is in Trusty Units W-1, W-2, or W-3, they're allowed one 30-minute visit per week under the Trusty Unit policy.

Note: For Trusty Units W-1, W-2, and W-3, the visit is scheduled during the inmate’s work time.

Here's how it works in practice. If the inmate's last name is Lopez, that falls in A–M - visiting days are Monday or Saturday. If the last name is Williams, that's N–Z, so visiting days are Tuesday or Sunday.

  1. Call the detention facility - Dial (501) 340-7001.
  2. Choose the right menu option - Select option #1 for additional visitation information.
  3. Confirm the details before you travel - Verify the inmate’s current housing/unit and which visiting day applies.
