How to Fund Commissary or Phone Minutes for an ICE Detainee in Ste. Genevieve
You can fund an ICE detainee’s commissary or phone minutes through City Tele Coin, while commissary can also be funded by mail. A mailed deposit must be a United States Postal Service money order with the detainee’s name and the last four digits of the A Number, and you should not enclose cash.
These Ste. Genevieve County Detention Center instructions apply to ICE detainees and were updated August 6, 2026. Commissary funds and phone-minute funds have separate purposes, so decide which one you want to fund before choosing a deposit method.
For commissary, you can use the City Tele Coin website or mail a United States Postal Service money order. For phone minutes, you can use the City Tele Coin website or call City Tele Coin.
To fund commissary online, use the City Tele Coin website. To place money on an ICE detainee’s account for phone-minute use, use the City Tele Coin website or call City Tele Coin at (318) 746-1114.
A mailed money order is a commissary-funding option. It must identify the detainee and use the facility’s mailing address so the funds can be processed into the detainee’s account.
- Obtain a United States Postal Service money order.
- Put the detainee’s name and the last four digits of the detainee’s Administrative File Number, also called the A Number, on the money order.
- Address it to: Ste. Genevieve County Detention Center, C/O Detainee Name, last four digits of the Administrative File Number (A Number), 5 Basler DR, Ste. Genevieve, MO 63670.
- Mail the money order without enclosing cash. Mailed funds are taken to the processing area for deposit into the detainee’s account, and the processing officer will provide a receipt for the funds received.
