What to Bring (and Leave Behind) When Visiting Taylor County Detention
A jail visit goes smoother when you show up with the few things you need and nothing extra. Use the checklist below to plan your visit to Taylor County Detention Center.
Taylor County Detention Center limits who can enter the visitation area. Each inmate may have up to two adults and two children per visit. Any children must be accompanied by an adult at all times, so plan accordingly.
Inmates are allowed one visit per week, either Thursday or Saturday (not both). If multiple family members want to visit, you may need to rotate who goes each week to stay within the visitor limit.
Bring a photo ID. All adult visitors need to show one at check-in.
