An on-site video visit means you go to Todd County Detention Center at 201 E. McReynolds Drive, Elkton, KY 42220. These visits are free and last 30 minutes. The visit is by video, not face-to-face contact.
With a remote video visit, you visit from home while the person in custody uses a video terminal in their housing area. A remote visit costs $6.95 for 20 minutes or $13.90 for 40 minutes. This option avoids a trip to the jail, but carries a fee.
On-site video visiting hours are daily from 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Remote video visiting hours are daily from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Visitation schedules are subject to change. Confirm the schedule with the facility before you travel or pay.
Both visit formats must be scheduled online through Inmate Canteen at least 24 hours in advance.
For on-site video visits, a maximum of two guests may attend each session. Each inmate is allowed one on-site visit per day, with a weekly limit determined by their classification.
