How to Mail a Money Order or Cashier’s Check to Natrona County Detention Center

The county’s published sending-money policy accepts Western Union or Money Gram money orders and cashier’s checks for mailed deposits to an inmate’s account. Under this policy, personal checks and credit cards are not accepted. Do not send cash through the mail.

Use the mailing destination in the county’s sending-money policy for your account deposit. Prepare the envelope as follows.

  1. Place the money order or cashier’s check alone in the envelope, without a letter or other contents.
  2. Address the envelope to:
  3. Inmate’s full name
  4. C/O NCDC
  5. 201 N David, 2nd Floor
  6. Casper, WY 82601
  7. Include your return address.

Personal letters use a different route: PO Box 591 in Longview, Texas 75606. The county’s mail policy identifies March 14, 2024 as the start of InTouch Mail Scanning powered by NCIC, which scans correspondence for electronic delivery to inmates. Use the county’s separate mail instructions when sending a personal letter, rather than including it with your deposit.
