Visitation

If you want to visit a friend or family member at Natrona County Detention Center, use the NCIC communication route rather than planning an in-person visit. ICE’s facility guidance, updated August 6, 2026, says the Sheriff’s Office does not allow in-person friends-and-family visitation and contracts inmate communication through NCIC Correctional Services. You can find service information at NCIC.com or https://www.natronacounty-wy.gov/205/Visitation. Legal representatives have a separate in-person visit option. If you are a legal representative, call 307-235-9521 to schedule an appointment with your client.

Include the inmate’s full committed name and your return address on the front of the envelope and on the letter. Accepted personal mail is scanned at a central processing location and delivered electronically through NCIC for the inmate to view on a facility kiosk or tablet. Books, magazines and newspapers follow a separate route. Before you order, the inmate must have requested the publication and the Jail Administrator must have approved it. Have the publisher send it directly to the inmate’s full name, Natrona County Detention Center, 201 N David, Casper, WY 82601, with the inmate’s committed name and the sender’s return address on the front of the envelope.
