Rockdale County Jail currently only offers at-home video visits for the public. On-site visitation is limited to attorneys due to COVID-19 restrictions. Visiting hours are Monday through Friday from 5:30pm to 10:00pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00am to 6:00pm and 7:30pm to 10:00pm. Visits run on a first-come basis during these blocks, so try to schedule early. If you're 17 or older, bring a government-issued photo ID for check-in. Everyone must wear a shirt and shoes. Each inmate can have one visitor per visitation period for 20 minutes (children accompanied by a parent or guardian are the exception). Food, drinks, tobacco products, and cell phones are not allowed. Intoxicated visitors will be turned away.

At-home video visitation at Rockdale County Sheriff's Office runs through Securus (securustech.net). You'll need to create a Securus account before scheduling a remote visit. Inmate Affairs must approve your account first, so plan for up to 24 hours of processing time before your first session. Visits use Securus Video Connect®, a web based video system you can access through the free Securus Video Connect app or from a computer or tablet. Before scheduling, make sure your device has a working camera and microphone, and use a stable internet connection. Rockdale County accepts money for inmate accounts three ways: online at https://deposits.jailatm.com/webdeposits, by mailing a money order or cashier's check with the inmate's name, or through the kiosk in the jail lobby. Inmates make commissary purchases using dorm kiosks and vendor webpacks ordered through deposits.jailatm.com. Indigent kits are available for inmates with no funds. Property bonds are processed Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (excluding holidays). You'll need documentation proving ownership, and all owners of record must sign the affidavit in a deputy's presence. The property equity must be double the bond value. For bonds of $25,000 or more, a licensed attorney must complete a title search within five business days. A $20 cash bond fee (exact change) is due when submitting a property bond.
