Rockdale County Jail has limited onsite visits due to COVID-19. Public visitors should plan on remote (at-home) visitation instead; attorneys can still visit in person. Public visiting hours run Monday–Friday 5:30pm–10:00pm and Saturday/Sunday 9:00am–6:00pm and 7:30pm–10:00pm. Visits are first-come, first-served. Each inmate gets one visitor per session for up to 20 minutes—children with a parent or legal guardian don't count toward that limit. If you're 17 or older, bring a government-issued photo ID. Wear a shirt and shoes. Leave food, drinks, tobacco, and cell phones behind. Anyone under the influence will be turned away. Arrive early and sign in before the session starts. Visits can be scheduled 24 hours after booking.

As of February 10, 2025, Rockdale County Jail no longer accepts personal mail at the facility. Send personal correspondence to the JailATM scanning address listed in the facility notice. Legal mail is the exception—it's accepted only from an attorney of record and must be clearly marked

Rockdale County Jail accepts inmate account deposits online at deposits.jailatm.com, through the lobby kiosk, or by mailing a money order or cashier's check with the inmate's name. Once an inmate has funds, they can order commissary items and vendor "webpacks" through the vendor site and dorm kiosks. Inmates without funds receive indigent kits for basic needs. Property bonds are accepted Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm (excluding holidays). You'll need proof of ownership, and all owners of record must sign an affidavit in front of a deputy. The property's equity must be at least double the bond amount. For bonds of $25,000 or more, a licensed attorney must complete a title search within five business days. Bring a $20 cash bond fee in exact change when you submit. Cash bonds can be paid by cash or cashier's check.
