Sending money: options and key restrictions to know

Money rules depend on whether your loved one is in an ADCRR state complex or a county jail. ADCRR does not accept checks, money orders, or cashier's checks for deposits to an inmate's account. Some county jails still accept money orders or cashier's checks and may offer drop-off windows or mail-in options.

At Yuma County Detention Center, you can deposit funds through Access Corrections online, by phone, or at a front-lobby kiosk during posted hours. The kiosk accepts cash or debit/credit cards but not prepaid debit cards or inmate release debit cards. Access Corrections also offers bilingual agents available 24/7 by phone.

In Gila County, only money orders or cashier's checks are accepted. You can drop them off at the jail visitation lobby window or mail them in with "Attention Property Master" written on the envelope. Cash, personal checks, and debit/credit cards are not accepted.
